Course Details

This is an intimate, hands-on self-tape workshop. We will focus on building strong, authentic audition performances through practical, in-the-moment direction, record, playback. This full-day workshop will offer many opportunities for you to test, improve and engage with your ‘audience’ quickly.

Actors will acquire the tools to deliver their best work consistently and walk away feeling empowered in their process and gain resilience in an industry that doesn’t always offer immediate rewards.

Kari Harris - is an inspiring, down-to-earth mentor and Casting Director who has worked closely with actors, directors and producers, giving her a unique perspective on what makes a performance truly stand out in the audition process.

She is the founder Kari Harris Casting, a successful Sydney-based casting consultancy that has worked with producers and directors from Australia and around the world across film, television and advertising. She previously served as Senior Casting Director at Prototype Casting. With more than 20 years of experience in the screen industry, 

Today, Kari also works as a keynote mentor and is the founder of Speak To Lead, where she helps professionals communicate with confidence, clarity and presence for any stage.
